| The Route The course is suitable for all ages and abilities, covering approximately 10 miles of tracks and farmland around Hanford School (DT11 8HN). There will be some jumps, from 2' upwards, all optional. The route will be clearly directed and stewarded. All riders will receive a Southern Shires Bloodhounds rosette upon completion of the ride. |

Directions from Blandford Forum to Hanford School...........DT11 8HN..........OS Grid Reference ST845112 Ring 0797 700 6757 if you get lost Start from the roundabout at the intersection of the A354 from Salisbury with the Poole to Shaftesbury A350. Turn onto the A350 heading north towards Shaftesbury. After approximately 3 miles you will get to a sharp left hand bend followed by a series of bends. Turn left at the next junction (this is approximately 3.6 miles from the A354) signposted to Child Okeford and Hanford. Follow this road and look for signs to the ride. The parking for the ride will not be in the school so please do not go into the school, but follow the signs which will direct ;you to the parking for the ride. |
